Tradition is what we do.
History of our club
The football club "Sloga" from Ostojićevo was founded in 1925 under the name PAK "Sloga" (Potis Athletic Club).
The members of PAK were young men and women from the village. Some were members of the theater society, while others played football. In 1934, PAK "Sloga" was incorporated into the Sokol Society for the entire Banat region.
The first football in the village was brought by Dragoljub Zikov, Dušan's son, who was a lawyer and
served as a judge in Kraljevo and Topola.
The first football field in Ostojićevo was located next to the Serbian Orthodox Church, and football was played
there from 1925 to 1937. Matches were held on Sundays and attracted a lot of attention from the locals. Due to the loud noise, residents living nearby complained to the local office, and the football field had to be moved to a different location.
There was much deliberation on where to relocate the football field, and the opinion of Prekup Rufin prevailed—to move it to Kopovo (at the entrance to the village from the direction of Čoka, on the right side).
The ideal location and good drainage of the field contributed to the fact that the "home" of our football players remained at Kopovo until 1946, after which the location was relocated for the second time, this time to Bikar (the other end of the village, towards Jazovo).

Stojan Veselinović-Cole and his family provided a vacant room in their family house to the football club, and thus the first club changing room was created. The field and the playing conditions were better, however, in 1953, the club was relocated again due to the division of plots to the villagers in that area of the village, following an order from the Local Committee of the Communist Party of Yugoslavia.

The greatest accomplishments
For most of its rich history, the football club "Sloga" built its reputation in the Potiska and District leagues.
In the 1985/1986 season, our team competed in the Bačka Zone (2nd Vojvodina League), which is considered the greatest club achievement. In the 1984/1985 season, our team was eliminated in the 1/16 final of the Marshal Tito Cup, where they were defeated by the then-second division team AIK from Bačka Topola after a penalty shootout.

In the second half of the 20th century, specifically on July 26, 1970, a friendly match was played in Ostojićevo between FK "Sloga" and FK "Partizan" from Belgrade. The result was 7:3 in favor of Partizan.

During the celebration of the club's 80th anniversary, FK Partizan from Belgrade once again visited, this time with a team of veterans, and a friendly match was played against the veterans of Sloga.

LEGENDS
The functioning and work of the club was greatly improved by Mile Sretenović – Čiča. By profession, he was a railway worker, and he moved to Ostojićevo in 1953 from the village of Šilopaj, located on Mount Rudnik, near Gornji
Milanovac.

During Čiča's time at the club, the highest achievement was reached. The club competed in the Bačka Zone in the 1985/1986 season, and the club was twinned with FK "Partizan" from Šilopaj, where they hosted and visited on several occasions.

Due to the contributions he made to the club, the sports center of FK "Sloga" was named after him: SC Mile
Sretenović – Čiča.
Čiča's work and dedication to the club were inherited by Jovan Banov – Kuvar. Having learned the "craft" from his
mentor, Kuvar, after his playing career at FK "Sloga," took on the role of the club's secretary. His focus and interest were primarily in developing young players. In addition to playing football Kuvar also passed on to the younger generations how to love and appreciate the club.
He led the club during difficult times and always found ways to keep it alive. He will also be
remembered for his fantastic organization of mini football tournaments, where he often took on the role of the announcer.
The Memorial Summer Mini Football Tournament Jovan Banov – Kuvar preserves his memory.

It is worth noting that before his professional career, at one point, our club had as a member our
celebrated national team player and Partizan legend, Mladen Krstajić.
FK "Sloga" in the 21st century
FK "Sloga" competed in the Potiska League until the 2013/2014 season. In 2013, a young team was formed that advanced to the Subotica District League, where it has spent most of its time since. A group of talented young players, primarily from the village, brought notable results and earned the club the reputation it deserves.

The club's strategy is closely tied to the vision of Jovan Banov, which focuses on working with young players. FK "Sloga" is currently competing in the Potiska League, with the aim of making a significant step forward for its anniversary.
